Who we are

Soco Collective focus on creating connections to power systems change. SoCo is a trailblazing force in driving equity and inclusion across business, startup and venture capital ecosystem.

Through our intersectional approach, we create spaces for people who are looking for something different, something more. This strong community underpins our work with changemakers and funders alike to drive more equity across the business ecosystem. We do this so that more diverse changemakers can find success, navigate hostile systems and thrive sustainably in the long term. Together, we create a future where every voice is valued, heard, and given the opportunity to make a transformative impact.

Our unique approach lies in driving innovation and equity as a collective of experts

We build and deliver projects for both commercial and social impact - together. We are co-designers, thought leaders, activists, and advocates who actively contribute to the development and implementation of innovative programs, initiatives, and solutions.

What we do

Our services include:

• Soco Community: Build meaningful connections, find inspiration, and access valuable resources through our online and in-person opportunities.
• Business consultancy: We work with changemakers (like you) across everything to do with a business. This includes: Business strategy, finance and investment, business operations, understanding trauma, relationship with money, building diverse networks, creating and maintaining partnerships, planning for growth, communications and brand, people and culture, grant writing, and content creation.
• Workshop facilitation: We can design and deliver a range of workshops. One of our personal favourites is using the intersectional framework and inclusive design practices identify problems, opportunities and explore innovative strategies to address current initiatives diverse challenges in the business landscape. Leveraging Speculative Futures as a design technique to immerse participants deeply in various possible futures, we use artefacts such as short movies, fictitious newspaper articles and imaginary commercials to generate transformation roadmaps. We have delivered 15,000 workshops and co-designed 1200+ programs for over 500+ organisations reaching 1+million people.
