Who we are
Intertwine envisions a just, inclusive society where everyone—regardless of background, ability, or identity—thrives with health, wellbeing, representation, and self-determination.
Our purpose is to dismantle systemic power structures to end marginalisation and oppression through education, connection, and resilience-building.
By addressing the root causes of inequity, we promote gender, cultural, and racial justice, creating safer, more empowering communities.
As a registered charity, we operate with integrity, inclusion, and a commitment to transformation, centring lived experience and promoting meaningful change in organisations and society.
What we do
At Intertwine, we take a lifecycle approach to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. We support organisations at every stage, from starting out to evaluating existing efforts.
Services include:
- Assessment: Our inclusive cultural assessment guides you through key equity measures, including diversity, inclusion, intersectional approaches, and cultural safety.
- Training: We tailor training to meet your needs, offering professional development, Intersectionality 101, anti-racism workshops, anti-bullying sessions, and executive upskilling.
- Evaluation: If your organisation has an intersectionality strategy, Intertwine can provide a comprehensive evaluation with staff interviews and improvement recommendations.
- Community: Diversity workers often work in isolation. Our communities of practice and networking events offer vital connections and collective support for ongoing work.
