Futuretech is a neurodivergent-led, Social Traders and People and Planet First certified social enterprise.Our mission is to inspire the neurodivergent minds of the future to build a better world, for everyone.We do this through community capacity building and advocacy as well as delivering programs that are neuro-affirming, focus on wellbeing and are designed and delivered by neurodivergent people.
What we do
COMMUNITY CAPACITY BUILDING (for the 62% of autistic people who experienced bullying this week) - Workshops, training and consultancy for teachers, schools, parents and peers that embody the social model of disability by focusing on building community capacity to better support autistic people
LEARNING (for the 98% of autistic people experiencing educational restrictions) - STEAM* based learning programs that are based on strengths and interests for at-risk, disengaged autistic youth
WELLBEING (for the 66% who have considered suicide) - Peer support using our evidence based, best practise FutureTech Wellbeing Framework to support staff and participants learn strategies for self-support and self-advocacy
CONNECTION (for the 51% who are socially isolated) - Social opportunities that recognise the different ways neurodivergent people socialise and support participants find connection through shared interests
WORK (for the 45% of autistic people living in poverty due to unemployment) - Meaningful work for neurodivergent mentors at risk of unemployment and financial insecurity
