WEAVE: Regen Economy Systems Lab

This page, published by Regen Labs introduces the WEAVE Regen Economy Systems Lab and its key output, the WEAVE Framework. Drawing on more than five years of practice and a recent 12-month program of experiments across several Australian regions, it sets out the conditions communities and social enterprises need to build inclusive, regenerative local economies.

The framework is built around place as an orienting layer, three core conditions (connected communities, regenerative development and transformative structures), and ten related strands of activity. It explores this through three inquiry areas: business model innovation, finance innovation and social infrastructure.
