The Weavers: The Critical Role of Place-Based Convenors for a Regenerative Future

This video, produced by Regen Labs, introduces the idea of weavers: people and small organisations who convene, coordinate and catalyse community-led economic development. It argues this work is essential but often invisible and underfunded, and makes the case for recognising and resourcing the role within long-term economic transitions.

It draws on a ten-month action learning journey run through Regen Labs' WEAVE Regen Economy Systems Lab, where place-based convenors from five Australian regions explored how they build readiness, support enterprises, and steward change in their communities.
