The SIMNA Resource Hub is a free, publicly accessible library maintained by the Social Impact Measurement Network Australia (SIMNA), the peak body for social impact measurement practice in Australia. Social impact measurement refers to the process of understanding and communicating the difference an organisation makes for people and communities. The hub brings together resources from across the sector in one place, covering a broad range of topics and formats.
The library is organised into six categories: guides and frameworks, tools, case studies, webinars, reports, and a blog. The guides and frameworks section includes well-known methodologies such as Social Return on Investment (SROI), a method for calculating the social, environmental, and economic value an organisation creates, as well as resources on outcomes measurement, collective impact evaluation, and the principles of social value. The tools section offers practical resources such as readiness assessments, community impact planners, and engagement toolkits.
The blog and webinar sections are regularly updated and cover emerging topics including AI in impact measurement, communicating impact to different stakeholders, and using data for social impact insights. The hub is most relevant to social enterprise practitioners, evaluators, funders, and anyone in the social sector looking to strengthen how they measure, report, or communicate their impact.
