Who we are

Dovetail Social Enterprises was founded by Kirrily Graham after 18 years volunteering, on the board and working with a grass-root charity.

At Dovetail, we leverage our extensive experience on both sides of the equation (charity and small business) and act as an outsourced corporate social responsibility (CSR) department to help SMBs make strategic investments that not only support their business objectives, but also enable owners to give back and make a real impact on causes that they, and their staff and customers, care about.

Our Mission is to empower and enable small to medium grass-root charities to grow their capacity and build sustainable business models by creating partnerships with micro, small and medium size businesses that want to make a social impact, aligned to the United Nations Global Goals.

We strive to model best practice in being a business that has the foremost interest of people and planet at it's core.

Our Vision is that there is a culture with in every small to medium size enterprise in Australia & New Zealand to be integral partners and a contribution to the sustainability and capacity of grass root charities to have a greater social and environmental impact.

What we do

Dovetail draws on the experience of our team members to connect grass-root charities (which we call our Hero Charities) and small to medium sized businesses (or Social Impact Investors), ensuring much-needed funding for charities to grow, and become sustainable, at the same time.

Dovetail identifies and pre-vets a range of high impact charities, and completes the due diligence so business owners can be reassured that no matter who they decide to partner with, the charities are already making a great social impact. We confirm they are operating efficiently and we will provide our SMB partners with regular updates on how their investment is helping to make an impact.

We also support businesses to make the most of their partnership with the charity they choose, and help them determine how best to engage their staff and customers in also supporting the charity. We have a membership program and businesses can choose how much support they need – from a little guidance, access to online resources and communities right through to us acting as their strategic advisory or outsourced corporate social responsibility team!
