Who we are
The City of Parramatta actively supports social enterprises, promoting sustainability and ethical business practices. Social enterprises are defined as businesses with social, environmental, or cultural goals, where profits are reinvested for community benefit. To foster growth, the Council offers Social Enterprise Grants for local initiatives, a Good Gift Guide featuring ethical gifts from local enterprises, the Pitch for Good crowdfunding event for new social entrepreneurs, and the Shop for a Cause campaign, helping residents identify social enterprises in the area.
