Who we are
Assistance Industry Resourcing (AIR) is a community-driven organisation dedicated to empowering service providers across regional Queensland. We understand the unique challenges faced by those working in the disability, mental health, aged care, allied health, and youth sectors. For regional services, these challenges can be even greater, often compounded by limited resources, isolation, and the complexity of delivering quality care in underserved areas. That’s why AIR exists — to bridge the gap and offer practical, on-the-ground support tailored to the needs of regional providers.
Founded in regional Queensland, AIR is built on the belief that the playing field for community service providers should be level, regardless of location. Whether you’re a sole trader navigating the complexities of an NDIS micro-startup or a larger, established service aiming to grow, AIR is here to offer support that speaks to your reality. We provide practical resources, solutions, and guidance to help you navigate the everyday challenges of running a high-quality service.
We know that the sector is often overwhelmed with an endless stream of reports, frameworks, and best practice strategies — all without the additional resources needed to implement change. At AIR, we focus on turning those ideas into action. We provide the missing link: tangible support that helps you build the systems, structures, and capacity to thrive.
What we do
From workforce planning and recruitment strategies to compliance coaching and policy development, we meet you where you are. Our goal is to help regional service providers not only survive but thrive, ensuring that community services are better resourced, more sustainable, and better recognised for their critical role in society.
We offer:
Workforce Development for individuals or teams: From customised workforce plans or recruitment strategies, to individualised service training in key concepts.
