Join Green Collect and other social enterprises for a workshop to learn how any enterprise can take practical steps towards a more circular, sustainable economy
About this webinar
A learning community of circular economy-focused enterprises has been working together over the last year to strengthen impacts, and it's now time to share learnings. Through collective knowledge and experience, they have created a set of practical resources to help social enterprises adapt aspects of their daily running towards more circular ways of operating.
Join this interactive workshop to explore:
- What is a circular economy and how can you be part of it?
- Examples of what social enterprises are doing, key tools and frameworks.
- Tangible actions you can take to make your enterprise more circular.
- How to collaborate with other social enterprises offering circular goods and services.
Whatever your social enterprise type, you will take away at least one or two simple and practical actions to further your enterprise's journey towards circularity. At a time of climate crisis, we can all adapt aspects of the running and decision-making of our enterprises to be more effective in protecting planetary boundaries. Join this webinar and help shape a social enterprise sector that mobilises as a whole for greater climate action.

Jayne Clarke
Founder
Imagine Re-Evolution
Committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by supporting young people, Jayne aims to empower youth by developing creative skills through mentorship, with a focus on sustainability and social justice. In the years before creating Imagine, Jayne worked to provide material aid relief to local children in need. But when the same names kept appearing on the list, she questioned how she might contribute to breaking cycles of poverty in her community. And so, she created Imagine. With over 300 young participants and 93 volunteers, Jayne is proud that Imagine connects older mentors with young people in an informal setting. Participants and volunteers build, construct and craft new creative projects together using donated items that would otherwise be destined for landfill. The intergenerational relationship provides social connection and purpose to the volunteers.
