This guide shares, in plain English, how Faith in Nature recognised the legal Rights of Nature within its organisational structures. Based in the UK, It sets out how they went about it and the changes made to their ‘Articles of Association’.

In 2022 Faith in Nature asked what it might look like to make Nature a stakeholder within their business, to turn to for advice on how to make more environmentally responsible decisions.
To do this they appointed a director to their board who would represent the interests of Nature, all species and the environment in general.
This open-source guide shares the changes made to their articles of association to allow the organisation to have specific regard for Nature in promoting the success of the company.
