Willing and Able Foundation Ltd

Who we are

Willing and Able is a social enterprise that has been operating as a vibrant and sustainable part of its local community for many years. Its mission is to provide meaningful paid employment, personal growth opportunities, and support services in a safe and positive environment for people living with disability. It serves neurodiverse people and people with a range of disabilities, including intellectual disability and acquired brain injury.

Willing and Able is led by Acting CEO Krystal Drury, Compliance Manager Lisa Cutajar, and Finance and HR Manager Natalie Fontyn. The organisation is guided by five core beliefs:

  • Everyone has value and can make a meaningful contribution.
  • A friendly environment where teamwork and fun are part of every day is essential.
  • Working in and with the local community makes a difference to people, the community, and the planet.
  • High quality and continuous improvement matter in everything the organisation does.
  • Nurturing personal pride, and pride in the work of others, is central to how the organisation operates.

What we do

Willing and Able operates a range of social enterprise businesses, each providing real paid work and skills development for its employees. Its activities span manufacturing, services, retail, and upcycling, and serve a broad range of commercial clients in the local community and beyond.

Current activities include:

  • Textile recycling: processing textiles that are no longer fit for reuse into bags of rags for mechanics shops, factories, and workshops
  • Commercial laundry: washing, drying, and folding overalls, uniforms, and similar items for factories and businesses
  • Assembly and packaging: supporting organisations with packaging, sorting, and light assembly tasks
  • Business services: installing and removing real estate signs, and car washing for local dealerships
  • Op shop: a retail store selling second-hand goods to the community
