White Box Enterprises is a leading national organisation committed to creating meaningful, inclusive employment for people who face barriers to work. We believe in the power of social enterprise to drive systems change and build a more equitable Australia. Founded in 2019, White Box operates as a catalyst, connector, and co-creator, supporting the growth of jobs-focused social enterprises that prioritise people and purpose over profit.
Our team works collaboratively with entrepreneurs, communities, governments, and investors to scale employment pathways that provide dignity, stability, and long-term impact.
What we do
We create and grow jobs-focused social enterprises by building ventures, supporting founders, and unlocking capital to generate long-term employment for overlooked and underrepresented Australians.
Our work spans three key areas:
- directly launching social enterprises;
- providing wraparound support to founders and operators;
- and advocating for enabling policy and investment.
Through initiatives like our Jobs Fund and policy reform efforts, we aim to scale sustainable employment models. Our place-based approach ensures solutions are grounded in local context, while our national advocacy helps shape a future where all Australians have access to meaningful work.
