UNSW Founders Liverpool Entrepreneurship Programs

Who we are

UNSW Founders empower Australia's next generation of entrepreneurs, guiding them from curiosity to idea and startup. The Liverpool Innovation Program represents a significant $700,000 commitment by UNSW to enhance Southwestern Sydney and invest in the region's innovative landscape, with a focus on social enterprises.

Shuoyan Zhu, Liverpool Program Manager, is responsible for ensuring that the local voice is represented, heard, and engaged for better outcomes and stronger support for the next wave of innovators in the region.

With a focus on supporting social enterprises, especially founders from multicultural backgrounds, this project offers free specialized programs, 1:1 mentoring, and pre-accelerator programs to support founders at any stage of their journey.

What we do

Designed and delivered by UNSW Founders, the LIP Entrepreneurship Program will:

  • Encourage more women and other underrepresented founders from CALD backgrounds to explore entrepreneurship, with a specific focus on supporting social enterprises that solve unmet needs in communities across the South-Western Sydney area.
  • Support South-West Sydney-based researchers and entrepreneurs with starting and scaling their ideas.
