What we do
TMHV currently delivers five program streams directly aligned with the Five Stages of Social Enterprise Development:
1. CATALYSE: Catalyse is a 2-day workshop that is often a social entrepreneurs entry into TMHV programs. During Catalyse, new and aspiring social entrepreneurs clarify and refine their theory of change. This session helps the entrepreneur decide "what's next" and "are they ready?”.
2. GRIST: GRIST is TMHV's flagship accelerator program. It consists of four months of intensive social enterprise business development and market validation led by experienced facilitators and mentors. Ideal for start-up and early stage social enterprises.
3.REFINE: The REFINE Incubator is a tailored business consultancy for established social ventures. The social enterprises work with TMHV's Social Entrepreneurs-In-Residence on specific engagements to refine their idea or solve a specific problem within their business. The program is funded with support from The Snow Foundation.
4. Scale For Impact: Ideal for trading social enterprises considering their next phase of development. The Program consists of two components:
- Masterclass Retreat – A two and a half day intensive residential workshop program incorporating selective masterclass sessions delivered by The Mill House Ventures team along with acknowledged specialist professionals providing immersive learning and networking experiences and a focused environment to encourage deeper learning and practical application.
- Diagnostic and support services – strategy and sequencing for impact investment readiness and development and recommendations for growth and development.
5. The Mill House Clinic: Provides pro bono business advisory support to help local social enterprises address specific business challenges that are limiting their growth. Advice is provided by UC students, under the guidance of experienced TMHV Mentors.
