Strive Motion

Who we are

Strive Motion is a registered social enterprise, we solely exist to solve a social problem. Our impact is through local action, helping people over 50 who feel socially isolated and have poor access to health, to find hope and community. We aim to encourage and support those wanting to stay healthy and active. We achieve this by inspiring participation and amplifying real stories that unite people through exercise, health, and social connection.

OUR MISSION: Promoting Health Equity Through Activity and Connection for Older Adults.

OUR VISION: Building Active, Connected Communities for Older Adults.

What we do

Strive Motion was originally created to take on a community program (AIMS and WAVES) from Prince of Wales Hospital that had been shut down, and we have grown from there. We exist to keep exercise classes affordable and accessible.

Our team is led by Accredited Exercise Physiologists, including our owner Emily and manager Jess, who are passionate about helping the community stay strong, mobile, and independent. We run StediStrong, a registered falls prevention exercise program, as well as water-based classes, Zumba Gold, and Yoga. We also deliver masterclasses focused on health and wellbeing
