Who we are

We are Racha's Syrian Kitchen, a culinary venture dedicated to sharing the rich flavours and traditions of Syrian cuisine. Our journey began when Racha Abou Alchamat, a passionate cook from Damascus, brought her love of food and culture to Australia. What started as a small food stall at a school festival quickly grew into a platform for connecting communities through food.

We believe that food is more than just sustenance—it’s a way to tell stories, build connections, and foster understanding between cultures. Our mission is to introduce the depth of Syrian cuisine to a wider audience, showcasing the generosity and hospitality that define our heritage.
