Who we are

Merriwa Industries is a co-packer and certified social enterprise creating meaningful employment for people with disability. We have been based in North-East Victoria since 1975 and provide our services to customers Australia wide. Merriwa employs almost 300 people, 60% of those are with a diagnosed disability.

Every product we pack represents opportunity, skill development, confidence building, and social connection for our team. By partnering with us, businesses not only receive high-quality, flexible packaging solutions, but also contribute to a stronger, more inclusive community.

What we do

Contract packing is our largest division, accounting for 80% of people with a disability. Our services include primary and secondary packaging from pouch filling, vertical form-fill, flow wrapping, labelling, multipacks to warehousing and logistics. We work with some of Australia's biggest manufacturers including Mars Petcare.

Alongside our packing capabilities, we run a commercial timbers division, Park Lane Nursery, contract garden and maintenance teams, and Merriwa Community Services.
