Who we are
SOL Studio was founded by Giles Roberts, who serves as founder, lead facilitator, and program designer. Giles brings over 20 years of experience facilitating groups locally and internationally, across diverse cultural environments. His background spans film, media, engagement events, performance, and entertainment, and he draws on all of these to create experiential learning programs. SOL Studio serves a broad range of participants, including children, teenagers, and adults in workplaces and community settings.
SOL Studio's mission is to engage, empower, and educate communities toward creative, critical, and innovative thinking, in preparation for a world shaped by ongoing social, cultural, and technological change. Its approach is collaborative, solution-focused, and social: designed to draw on the collective knowledge of a group rather than deliver information from a single source.

What we do
SOL Studio was born from the recognition that the way people learn, teach, and share knowledge is changing rapidly due to technological, social, and cultural shifts. SOL Studio's response to this is to design learning experiences that harness human connection, creativity, and collaboration rather than rely on traditional, lecture-based approaches.
