Who we are
At Adapt Mentorship Indigenous Corporation, our mission is to walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and their families through culturally grounded mentoring and support. We use innovative, community co-designed programs that respond to real needs on the ground - not systems that sit above them.
Everything we do is about connection to culture, identity and creating real pathways forward in education, employment, and life.
We are a social enterprise that does things differently led by community, shaped by lived experience and focused on real outcomes.
Vision
Our vision is for First Nations young people to grow up strong in who they are - connected to culture, supported by community and empowered to lead their own futures. We want young people to be defined by their strengths and potential, not by statistics or systems!
We are also committed to 2-way governance, where Aboriginal leadership, community voice and shared decision-making sit at the centre of everything we do. That’s how we stay accountable to community, not just funding systems.
Impact
We create change through practical, relational and culturally safe support. Our programs help young people stay engaged in education, reduce justice involvement, strengthen family connections and build confidence and direction.
