First Nations

An approach where initiatives are designed, guided, and governed by the community they are intended to benefit. In a First Nations context, this means recognising the authority of community, Elders, and cultural governance structures—ensuring that solutions are not imposed externally, but emerge from local knowledge, lived experience, and cultural practice.
