SIMNA: Impact measurement roundtable

SIMNA's peer learning and support learning community will create a space for those looking to enhance the capability of their social enterprise in measuring and managing their social impact effectively.

About the learning community

The roundtable is being established to create a safe space for peers to explore challenges, ask questions and test their thinking on social impact measurement. It aims to foster a supportive environment where social enterprise practitioners can learn from each other’s experiences, develop their skills and contribute to the growth and innovation of social impact measurement practices in Australia.

The sessions will explore key themes such as:

  • Developing and implementing social impact strategies.
  • Measuring impact across different organisational areas.
  • Overcoming challenges in impact reporting.

About the convenor

Social Impact Measurement Network Australia (SIMNA) is a knowledge sharing network for social impact measurement in Australia. It has members from all different types of organisations, including non-profits, corporates, funders, social enterprises and local and federal government. It exists to rapidly connect the ideas, people and resources that will drive positive social and environmental impact into the core of organisations and decisions. SIMNA runs learning and networking events across the country and online, special interest roundtables, annual awards, training and accreditation in social value and an online resource hub.

How will this learning community work?

The learning community will consist of six online roundtable meetings, starting in June 2025. Final dates, times and topics will be confirmed through an EOI process.

  • Meeting 1 - July 2025
  • Meeting 2- August 2025
  • Meeting 3 - September 2025
  • Meeting 4 - October 2025
  • Meeting 5 - February 2026
  • Meeting 6 - March 2026
